Join us for the second in a series of monthly workshops focusing on teacher education in Michigan. These workshops are funded as part of the Local Heroes state appropriation and will focus on the area of teacher shortages in the state of Michigan. This second workshop will provide detailed information on the Alternative Route to Interim Teacher Certification (ARC) as well as the specific ARC requirements, processes, timeline and resources at Schoolcraft College's ARC program. An additional four workshops will be held monthly covering pre-requisite and course outcomes, bachelor's degree options, the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC), and conclude with strategies for communicating and recruiting prospective students.
