Professional Associations
Michigan's community colleges and their administrators, faculty, and staff are members of several affinity groups that provide professional development, coordinate meetings and conferences, and communicate information to community college professionals across the state of Michigan. The MCCA frequently partners with these organizations on matters relevant to the MCCA Board of Directors.
Professional Associations Leadership Alliance (PALA)
The Michigan Community College Professional Associations Leadereship Alliance (PALA) is an alliance of the community college professional associations and affinity groups in Michigan. PALA is coordinated by the MCCA. The purpose of PALA is to support information sharing among the professional associations and affinty groups representing community colleges in Michigan as well as to provide updates of MCCA activities, legislative issues and other information to PALA member organizations.
