Michigan Center for Student Success

Colleges at all stages of integrating Guided Self-Placement—whether just beginning, exploring, or fully implementing—are invited to join MCCA and Achieving the Dream for a comprehensive discussion on how Guided Self-Placement is reshaping the college readiness process and promoting student success through personalized, data-informed decision-making.

Guided Self-Placement empowers students to take ownership of their educational journey by actively evaluating their readiness for college-level coursework. By utilizing clear, data-driven pathways and self-assessment tools, students are better equipped to choose courses that align with their strengths and academic goals, creating a more personalized and effective path to success.

Join the Michigan Community College Connections Committee (4C's) in facilitating an engaging webinar focused on understanding and overcoming generational barriers in the workplace and community. As our workforce includes individuals from a variety of generations, it's essential to recognize the unique perspectives and values that different generations bring. In this session, we will discuss various generations' distinct work styles and communication preferences. You'll gain insights into the challenges that arise from generational misunderstandings and how these can impact collaboration. Learn effective strategies for creating a thriving and safe environment that values the contributions of all generations, promoting collaboration and respect. Together, we can bridge generational gaps and enhance workplace culture.
