Local Heroes: Healthcare Pathways

These sessions provide participating colleges an opportunity to engage in a structured, collaborative environment to assess local healthcare pathway challenges, share evidence-based strategies, and implement targeted reforms aligned with state workforce priorities. The community of practice sessions provide opportunities to share best practices, discuss challenges, explore innovative approaches to healthcare education, and build partnerships that enhance student success in healthcare pathways. Presented by LERN President William Draves, attendees will receive information on pricing non-credit courses in areas of listing prices, raising prices and additional best practices.

Michigan Center for Student Success

Community college presidents, chancellors, and members of their senior leadership and cabinet teams are invited to register for the Winter 2026 Student Success Leadership Institute, co-hosted by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. Participants will hear from the Aspen Institute on emerging trends in credential completion, gain deeper insight into labor market outcomes from the National Center for Inquiry and Improvement, and learn from national subject matter experts presenting evidence-based practices aligned with the Community College Research Center’s More Essential than Ever frontiers. A detailed agenda will be released soon. All participants should register individually to ensure an accurate attendee count; however, institutions are encouraged to participate together as leadership teams when possible during the virtual event.
