Grant Application Resources

MCCA was awarded a grant from the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) to support colleges in their efforts to design grant applications for the Office of Sixty by 30’s Student Success Grants.

RED: Grant Application Support

MCCA’s support focuses on the essential functions of grant planning and writing, organized into three areas of work: Reflection, Evidence, and Design (RED) with a foundation of individual consultation by MCCA with community colleges. In addition to the video above, listen to our 5-minute AI-generated podcast to learn more about RED.  Contact Erica Orians (eorians@mcca.org) to schedule an individual consultation.

GOLD: Grant Management Support

In addition to grant application support, MCCA has developed a framework to support colleges through the crucial first 90-day period after a grant is awarded. The GOLD guide covers topics that will help your team get started on the right foot with a focus on Groundwork and Governance, Onboarding and Outreach, grant Lifecycle and Longevity, as well as Data and Deliverables.
