Congratulations to the presenters whose proposals have been selected for the 2025 Student Success Summit! Below are the essential next steps and information you’ll need to prepare. Session Formats

Traditional Breakout: Traditional breakout sessions will highlight specifics related to talk, data, action, or results to improve outcomes at one or more community colleges. This session type should feature active learning activities to reinforce the session learning outcomes for participants.

Panel Presentation: This presentation format will include a panel moderator and at least 3 panelists from more than one community college.  Panel sessions are organized around a specific focus area and encourage panelists to share perspectives on the topic from various perspectives. The session agenda should include ample time for Q and A from attendees.

Presentation and Technology Logistics

The 2025 summit will feature up to 18 breakout sessions centered around the next frontiers for strengthening community college pathways. Use the information below regarding presentation logistics. 

  • Presentations are all 45 minutes in length.
  • Please bring your own laptop, clicker, and HDMI cable.
  • Microphones will be available in each room.
  • Ensure that subtitles are enables on your presentation.
  • Following your presentation, send a PDF copy of your PowerPoint presentation to Precious Miller pmiler@mcca.org to be shared out with event attendees.
