Washtenaw Community College Radiography instructor and several students went searching for mummies in Peru in May and June. They were there to assist researchers in the documentation of mummified remains from the Chiribaya culture. As professionals in radiographic imaging, the WCC faculty and students lend their expertise to help evaluate the condition and hidden features of the delicate mummies and artifacts found with them.
