Posted: 3/19/2012 - 01:27 PM

For more than 45 years the Oakland Police Academy, based at Oakland Community College, has trained cadets to qualify for the State of Michigan Police Officer Licensing Exam. Starting this fall, Police Academy graduates will receive an OCC certificate of achievement when completing their training.  This certificate awards 15 college credits that may be applied toward an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice – Law Enforcement, Technological Science, or as transfer credits to another school.
