Oakland Community College to train 450 new employees at four area companies under the Michigan New Jobs Training Program.

Oakland Community College will utilize Michigan New Jobs Training Program funding to train new employees in a variety of areas to include IT, client service, account executive training and other technologies at the following companies:
· 16 new employees at Plymouth Technology. Plymouth Technology provides PBX phone systems, streamlined voice mail, digital receptionists and fax-to-email services to small and medium sized businesses across the country.
· 36 new employees at Kay Premium Marking Films. Kay Premium Marking Films (KPMF) is a manufacturer of high quality self-adhesive vinyl films.
· 75 new employees at Weber Automotive.
· 321 new employees at the mortgage lender United Shore Financial Services.
The Michigan New Jobs Training Program is a local, employer-driven program that allows community colleges to divert state Individual Income Tax Revenue captured from newly created jobs to fund job training. For more information on the program, please click here.
