MEDC announces a new Career Jump Start program with community colleges.

Press conference at Henry Ford Community College took place last week to announce the creation of the Career Jump Start program. The program will introduce career liaisons in the 10 State of Michigan Prosperity Regions to help high school students and parents identify high-demand careers as well as training and educational programs. For the 10 Prosperity Regions and the related community college leads, please click hereJackson College is the managing lead for the MEDC grant, and regional career liaisons will be housed at Alpena Community College, Bay de Noc Community College, Delta College, Grand Rapids Community College, Jackson College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Lansing Community College, Mott Community College, North Central Michigan College and Oakland Community College/Workforce Intelligence Network.
