SALARY RANGE $69,824 - $94,438 (maximum entry $80,206)
FUNCTION: Purchased IT services vendor management. Develop and manage hosted/cloud services, IT vendor support relationships and contracts. Serve as primary communication liaison for technical teams, IT and end users.

WORK HOURS: Job responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends without notice.
QualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years’ experience in a direct vendor IT services management role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proven record of accomplishment of SLA management, contract review/development, vendor escalation of service issues, project management, status reporting and transitioning traditional, on premise IT services to a managed services environment and visa-versa. Formal project management training and/or PMP certification. Strong knowledge of IT cloud based system integration technology to help troubleshoot system integration issues. Strong project management and vendor management skills. Strong business communication skills with demonstrated ability to competently identify, present, explain and clarify ideas, requests and procedures through the use of written and oral communications. Must be able to exercise good judgment in managing priorities, work independently and within a group, take initiative and ownership of issues. Must be able to clearly interpret and review vendor services contracts and agreements in a manner that protects the best interests of Macomb Community College and ensures adherence to SLA’s. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence and be able to clearly translate business needs into requirements. Must be willing to adapt, learn and support other hardware and software environments as Macomb’s computing environment changes. Formal configuration management principles and the importance of maintaining accurate technical documentation such as network diagrams, system design/description documents and work procedures documentation.
