MCCC was one of 68 of 274 applying organizations to get the funding. It was the only community college in Michigan to win the award.

The grant has allowed the college to offer accredited, accelerated welding courses that model the American Welding Society SENSE (Schools Excelling through National Skills Education) program.]]>
