The Michigan Community College Association is the primary advocate for Michigan's twenty-eight public community colleges.  Our organization is committed to providing leadership on issues affecting our member colleges.  The MCCA fosters collaborative partnerships between the colleges and other education stakeholders.

The MCCA office is located in downtown Lansing, about a five minute walk from the State Capitol.

The MCCA is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a Trustee and the Chief Executive Officer (President or Chancellor) of each member college. The MCCA Board of Directors meets quarterly.

At the 2007 Winter Board Meeting, the MCCA Board of Directors adopted a new strategic plan.
