Oakland Community College is one of 13 community colleges in a multistate consortium that will receive $15 million through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training program, headed by the lead college in the consortium, Henry Ford Community College.

Schoolcraft College launches undergraduate research-intern program in biotechnology.

At the MLSIC, a local life science incubator for many start-up companies, members of Schoolcraft's student body will have the unique opportunity to participate in an intensive one-year research program at the facility. Students will be immersed in real-world research of their own design, under the mentorship of Schoolcraft faculty and Michigan Biotechnology leaders.
