Jackson Community College is a partner in a new partnership between three U.S. community colleges and Brazilian organizations is designed to broaden technical skills and international experience for students from both countries. The US-Brazil Partnership for Skills partners with the National Industrial Apprenticeship Service of Brazil (SENAI) and the Social Service for Industry of Brazil (SESI).

$10,000 Competition Promotes Plan to Offer Free Tuition for Michigan Students

Legislative Democrats are offering high school students a $10,000 scholarship to help them promote a plan to pay for college for all high school students.  The mi202 Scholarship Competition calls on high school students to submit a video explaining why the Michigan 2020 plan unveiled in January is important to them and to students in general.  The estimated cost of the program is $1.7 billion. Read the full news item
